چکیده
This study aimed to investigate accuracy in different sectional planes of the TMA Grand Master (3DHISTECH) Workstation various soft tissue samples collected from Wistar rats. A total 108 animals were sacrificed and 963 specimens 12 soft-tissue types. 3307 cores punched transferred into 40 recipient blocks. Digital image analysis was performed. Core loss showed a significant correlation with type highest skin (p < 0.001), renal medulla femoral artery, nerve, vein bundle 0.01). Overall, 231 (7.0%) lost. Hit rate performed 1852 punches. The target hit completely, partially missed totally by 89.4%, 7.2% 2.2%. 54.5% punches had good less than 200 µm deviation centre targeted region 92.6% 500 µm. Accuracy decreases greater depth. In deepest plane roughly 0.5 mm median depth, almost 90% below Recommendations for automated creation are given this article. ngTMA®-method has proven accurate reliable tissues, even deeper layers.

Biomarker research relies on tissue microarrays (TMA). TMAs are produced by repeated transfer of small tissue cores from a 'donor' block into a 'recipient' block and then used for a variety of biomarker applications. The construction of conventional TMAs is labor intensive, imprecise, and time-consuming. Here, a protocol using next-generation Tissue Microarrays (ngTMA) is outlined. ngTMA is bas...

In this issue of Neurology® Neuroimmunology & Neuroinflammation, Salzberg et al report on the results of a small prospective study of the application of nextgeneration sequencing (NGS) of RNA and DNA extracted from brain biopsy tissue specimens obtained from 10 patients with suspected neuroinfectious disease processes. In 3 patients, the NGS results, which included JC virus, Epstein-Barr virus,...
متن کاملModeling of Tactile Detection of an Artery in a Soft Tissue by Finite Element Analysis
Nowadays, one of the main problems encountered in minimally invasive surgery and telesurgery is the detection of arteries in tissue. In this study, for the first time, tactile detection of an artery in tissue and distinguishing it from the tumor has been modeled by finite element method. In this modeling, three 2D models of tissue have been created: tissue, tissue including a tumor, and tissue ...

The tissue microarray (TMA) technology was introduced in 1998 as a tissue preserving, high-throughput technique that allows studies of multiple markers in large sample sets. TMA slides can be analyzed using techniques such as immunohistochemistry and in situ hybridization and represents a powerful tool for the investigation of potential diagnostic and prognostic markers identified in DNA microa...
